Austin goes to see Billie to let off steam about Jenn's situation. Billie thinks he may be starting to have feelings for Jenn. Billie gets a call from Curtis. He tells her he's in Salem and he needs her help.
Marlena gets news that the baby will be just fine, but when Sami wants to know what they are talking about Marlena tells her that it's nothing that she has to worry about. Sami does worry though as Roman tries to persuade Marlena to go away to the medical conference. However she manages to get the truth out of Jenn and Austin. Jamie suspects that there was something up but Sami tells her to leave it.
Billie promises Curtis she'll get him the money and she asks Carrie to release the checkbook to her. When Carrie gets out of the shower later, Billie tells her that Roman called and asked her to meet them and it was important. Carrie goes over to the house and they tell her that Stefano is alive. Carrie is shocked and Roman tries to convince her to move back home but Carrie doesn't want to. Austin arrives at the apartment and he and Billie discuss their lost loves and then Jenn. Billie tries to convince Austin to go over to Jenn's. (Oh yeah, she's not trying to get rid of you Austin!) He leaves and Curtis walks out of the bedroom and tells her he came up the fire escape. He tells her that Austin arrives back at Jenn's with some chicken soup and tells her that someone has to take care of her.
Billie meets Austin for breakfast and tries to decide what to do about her new knowledge. Austin heads over to Jenn's where Jo finds the letter from Jack upstairs on Jenn's dresser. Austin reads it out to them and in it Jack explains that he was the one responsible for the toxic waste dumping that gave Abby her Aplastic Anemia and that she needs someone better than him so he's left. Austin wants to go find Jack but Jenn won't let him. She says if Jack comes back he has to come back by himself. Austin comforts Jenn over Jack and then tells her that Carly is alive. Curtis pays Billie a visit and scams some more money off her saying he's going to get out of town.
Victor gets into Kate's office but Curtis gets under the desk. Kate doesn't tell Victor the truth about what's happened and she gets him out of there. Curtis tells Kate he wants money. What else? Kate asks him to give her a day so she can dispose of some assets to get the cash. Later Billie and Kristen bump into each other and talk....yadda yadda yadda. Billie leaves and Carrie joins Kristen. More yadda. It's all yadda making. Carrie eventually tells Kristen that maybe she can talk to Marlena and Marlena can explain her reaction to Stefano. At the cabin Marlena tries the phone again but realizes that it's dead. She's trying to convince herself it's a false alarm as she can't do this by herself. She hears the ferry whistle and goes outside but she doesn't get far. Kristen heads down to Smith Island where she finds Marlena outside the cabin. Marlena tells her she thinks the baby is coming. Kristen says that it's too early. Marlena says she knows it is. Kristen helps her back to the cabin and then takes off down to the ferry to see if she can catch it before it heads back to the mainland. However she gets back and tells Marlena that the ferry has already gone. Marlena says then they are stuck here until Roman comes. She has another contraction and gets Kristen to time it.
At the cabin, Marlena tells Kristen she may have to hang around to help deliver the baby. She asks Kristen to distract her and asks her about John. She tells Kristen that John is the most honest kindest man she knows and Kristen asks her if she's still in love with John. Kristen then apologizes. Kristen asks her about what Stefano has done and tells Marlena that Stefano has no reason to lie, he just made his final confession to a priest. Marlena tells Kristen that Stefano would lie to God himself and then she has her strongest contraction yet. John arrives and Kristen tells him Marlena is in labour. He asks if it could be a false labour and she tells him her waters have already broken, this is the real thing. John takes charge and he and Marlena talk as Kristen slips out of the room. She realizes that Roman must have never gotten the message and thinks that it's ironic that John is there and not Roman, seeing as he could have been the baby's father. John tells her he wanted to be the baby's father, but he's not. Roman is and that's the way it should be. They talk about Kristen and that situation and Marlena urges John to talk to Kristen. Outside, Kristen prays, saying that it doesn't matter who was lying now, was long as Marlena and the baby are alright. John overhears the last part and says to her that he doesn't know the DiMera's prayed. They argue again but Marlena's screams make John rush into the cabin. She has a really bad contraction and John thinks it's over but it continues. She grabs him and says that she's been here before, she knows what this means. The baby is coming. Marlena wants to push, but John won't let her. They go through several contractions but Kristen tells them that it's not time for her to push yet. John makes Marlena focus on him as she breathes through a contraction. Once again she wants to push, but they are not sure she's fully dilated so John makes her breath through the contraction. Finally Kristen sees the baby's head and John swaps places with her and tells Marlena to push. He encourages her and finally the baby is born. John tells her it's not a boy, it's a little girl. Marlena says 'he's a she?' Later Marlena is holding and talking to her little girl and John and Kristen talk. They go outside and Kristen is warbling on about all the good in the world and John tells her to listen. She says she doesn't hear anything. John says that's just it, why don't they hear Marlena and the baby. Kristen tells him Marlena was exhausted, she's probably sleeping. John shakes his head and tell her that something is wrong. They go back inside and see Marlena sleeping peacefully. John smiles and crouches down, but as he goes to touch the baby, he realizes she's not breathing. John takes the baby and gives her mouth to mouth. Marlena wakes up and Kristen tells her that the baby has stopped breathing. Marlena wants to help but she can barely walk and Kristen catches her as she falls. John eventually gets the baby breathing and hands her back to Marlena. Marlena tells him that it was right that he was here to give the baby life.
Jenn and Austin pay Victor a visit and Jenn tells Victor she is going to uncover the truth about Victor's involvement. Jenn and Austin leave and go to a hill overlooking Salem where they talk about Laura. Alan is over at Carrie's apartment, they have a biology lab together and are studying. Billie comes home and he leaves as Billie tells Carrie about Bo and Carly splitting up. Carrie decides that Billie should be the one helping Bo get over Carly. Carrie and Billie arrange to go to the Cheatin' Heart and Carrie calls Roman and gets him to bring Bo over to meet 'her'. Bo walks into the Heart and tells Bo there's lots of memories there. Roman tells Bo that somewhere out there, there's a woman for him but Bo says that the last thing he needs now is to get involved. Carrie and Billie arrive and Carrie takes Roman aside to give Bo and Billie a few moments together. They end up slow dancing, thanks to Carrie's skilful manipulation. Carrie fights with Lucas and leaves with Alan so Bo offers to take Billie home.
Back at the house, Roman gets home and he, Sami and Jamie realize that Marlena is not there. Alice comes over in her robe when she sees all the lights on and tells Roman that Marlena had gone to the cabin and had wanted him to come. She tells him that Kristen may be there with her. Roman calls her cell phone number but finds it's dead and calls the forest service instead. They send out a helicopter to pick up Marlena and the rest and they call Roman from the air to give him the news. They all head for the hospital where Sami starts to get nervous about the tests they are going to run on the new baby. Roman suggests to Marlena that they call the baby Isabella and Marlena agrees. Sami isn't too happy when she overhears it but when they ask John he loves the idea. They toast to Isabella Brady. In the staff lounge, Sami tells Jamie that she switched the blood tests. Roman is not the baby's father, John is. Back in the bedroom, Roman holds the baby and then John.
Bo takes Billie home and they watch the tape from LA. He leaves and Billie is thrilled but Curtis comes back. He tells Billie he's in trouble and he needs somewhere to stay while he waits for a windfall. She wants to know what it is and he just tells her that it's money owing from an old friend. Billie tells him he can stay in the basement, but he steals they key to 3Dwhile she's not looking.
Everyone comes in to see Marlena and the baby. Roman calls Bo and Abe and they come in, Carrie and Billie also head in. Carrie does her best to encourage Billie to ask Bo out. Billie tries to but chickens out at the last moment. Back in Marlena's hospital room, Sami gets upset when she sees John holding Belle. Later Marlena tells her she knows shy she was so upset. Must have reminded her of seeing Marlena and John in the conference room. She tells Sami that's all over now and John has been a good friend to them. She asks Sami to forgive them for their mistake. Roman comes in and the nurse brings in the preliminary results. The baby is healthy but the final results are yet to come. Sami is still nervous.

Billie and Carrie discover that their stereo is gone and Carrie's jewelry is gone but Billie doesn't want Austin to call the police. Billie suddenly remembers her necklace from Bo and discovers it's gone. Austin calls the police and Billie goes to find Curtis. She finds him downstairs out on heroin and demands to know where her necklace is. Upstairs Bo arrives and discovers that the key is missing. Austin heads downstairs to find Billie and 'the super'. Billie hears Austin and leaves to go upstairs with him. However Bo heads down to find the super and Curtis has his gun ready.
Billie comes downstairs and distracts Bo telling him that the super is on the roof. Billie arranges to meet Bo and S-D at the fair. Billie for some reason tells Curtis he can stay there until he gets the money he's owed. Billie heads off to the fair and gets involved in singing while food is being thrown at her.
Back at the Brady house Roman is taking a picture of Sami and Belle and Marlena. He comments that looking at them he can't believe they're his. He talks about how Isabella looks like Sami and Marlena says yes, they have the same lips. Roman says the baby's smile is hers but then says that her eyes aren't like either of theirs. Sami says of course they're like his...she thinks the baby looks a lot like him. Roman and Marlena go upstairs to lie down and Sami tells Belle that she loves her and will keep her secret.
